Message from the Board

October 13 Board Meeting News

Our independent election firm, Pro Election, provided the results of the Board Directors Vote. Marshall Pihl, Carissa Tonner, and Cynthia Clark Porter were elected to be members of the Pacific Point HOA Board.

Long time President, William Trichon, resigned effective at the end of the Board meeting. The Board decided on the following assignment of Officers:

President:     Marshall Pihl

Vice President: (Open)

Secretary:     Cynthia Clark Porter

Treasurer:     Clif Lawrence

At Large:     Carissa Tonner

The Board hopes to fill position vacated by William at the next Board meeting on November 10th. Please reach out to your Board members if you have interest.

At this time, we would like to express our deep gratitude to the Board members whose time on the Pacific Point HOA ended this past year:

  • Billy Philadelphia A.K.A. William Trichon has served as your Board President for the past 13 years. His efforts in the last few years to lead the update of the CC&Rs and the Bylaws and do the groundwork for the upcoming special assessment have been a huge benefit for PPC. His dedication, guidance, and outstanding humor will be missed.              Thank you, Billy!
  • Janet Laurain spent countless hours on behalf of the board getting the new CC&Rs and Bylaws written, reviewed, and ready for voting! This was a detail oriented, time-consuming task. Kudos to Janet!
  • Karen Johnson stepped up to the Board last year when she was needed and made significant contributions in time, research and commitment using her skills to the benefit of PPC. She has been a calm voice throughout the challenging work that has been done. Thank you, Karen!

Please make a point of reaching out to these leaders and thank them for all their effort, hard work and positive results for our community.

Important Information From our new President:

  Dear Owners,

Please check your mailbox in the coming week for the 2nd Restated CC&Rs election ballot. We still have the original CC&Rs high pass requirement, so it is important for everyone to return a ballot. The Board is very appreciative for those who attended our small, building group meetings and those who reached out to the Board through Manor with questions and concerns. You will receive an Email blast from Manor when the ballots are officially mailed. If you do not receive your ballot in a timely manner, please let us know so that we can ensure you receive one so your vote can be counted. It will be important for your ballot to be received by Pro Elections prior to November 20th when the votes will be counted and the result announced.

Respectfully,

Marshall Pihl, Pacific Point Board President

Did You Know

We are very appreciative of our neighbors who have reached out with questions about a wide range of subjects. We are committed to providing as much information as possible in a very timely manner. We are committed to sharing information as it becomes available to us. For example: regarding the recently installed rat traps and the Flock camera.
You may have noticed the posts on the tennis court have rusted away. We are soliciting ideas for that space.  Keep it as is or, perhaps divide it into more useable Community Space?
Keep asking questions. 😊
